Mayeum Choying Wangmo Dorji
Ashi Mayeum Choying Wangmo Dorji was the mother of Queen Grandmother Ashi Kesang Choden of Bhutan. She was also known as Rani Choying Wangmo Dorji. She is best known for designing the Flag of Bhutan. When she died in 1994, she was cremated.〔(Royal Ark )〕

She created the flag when her daughter requested flag representing Bhutan as a flag was required for the first Asian conference in New Delhi on March 23, 1947, where Bhutan was invited to attend along with 27 other Asian countries.
